Combining form and function, the new ŠKODA Superb Estate will be setting new standards in its segment from September. Its successful interplay between design and practicality is especially obvious at the back: the rear is not only more stylish than ever – but behind the large, wide-opening fifth door, you’ll find the largest, most practical boot in its class.

Mladá Boleslav, 17 June 2015 – The new ŠKODA Superb Estate has the largest boot in the automotive mid-class. Although the new Superb Estate is only 23mm longer than its predecessor, the boot holds 27 litres more than before with the rear seats up. By putting the seats down in the back the load capacity will increase to almost two cubic metres: a 1950-litre load capacity is by far the best in its class, and 85 litres larger than that of the second-generation model. Even carrying long objects is possible; the front passenger seat can easily be folded down when required. This allows objects of up to 3.10 metres in length to be transported in the new Superb Estate.

The new ŠKODA Superb not only triumphs in terms of space, but also in its practical solutions. Up to 31 Simply Clever features are on offer for the new model – 11 of which are in the boot alone.

Just as with the saloon version, the new ŠKODA Superb Estate is also optionally available with a virtual pedal, which enables you to open the electric tailgate hands-free with a simple foot movement around the bottom of the rear bumper. The function works in combination with the keyless lock and start system KESSY.

Another new addition making its debut on the new ŠKODA Superb Estate is the practical tip-to-close function that initiates the electric boot closing mechanism with a simple pull. When combining the electric bootlid with KESSY, the boot can also be closed by remote control.

Folding down the rear backrests can be done at the touch of a button in the boot of the new Superb Estate.

The variably adjustable false boot floor offers the highest practical benefits in the new ŠKODA Superb Estate. This intermediate moveable floor can divide the boot in various ways making it more flexible. The system also creates practical storage space: the boot’s coat shelf and the retractable cover can be stored under the double floor.

The roller cover has been designed as a manual retractable load cover. By applying gentle pressure, it automatically rolls back and the boot is free for loading. The roller cover also has an automatic unlocking roller blind. This means the cover will automatically move one notch back when the boot door opens.

Another practical feature is the new coat shelf, which can be found under the roller cover. This can hold flat items, such as a jacket.

Four folding hooks in the boot can help to securely transport items that might otherwise move around, for example shopping bags. The net programme is also useful here; one horizontal and two vertical nets can secure items when required. Finally, in the boot you will also find a removable LED torch, which can be used outside the vehicle. The flashlight is charged automatically in its holder as you drive, and is also magnetic.

The new ŠKODA Superb Estate goes on sale in the UK in July, ahead of first deliveries from September.

ŠKODA retailers across the UK are preparing for one of the busiest weekends of the year with the launch of The Big ŠKODA Event. To celebrate the brand’s successful start to 2015, ŠKODA is offering a host of amazing deals to buyers, including zero per cent finance across the entire range, along with extra treats for those ordering a new or used ŠKODA over the course of the weekend.

Milton Keynes, 4th June 2015 - As part of ŠKODA’s commitment to maximising value for customers and taking the hassle out of buying a new car, the brand is offering its popular zero per cent finance package on all models in the current range. Acclaimed for their simplicity, ŠKODA’s zero per cent deals are offered from Citigo to Superb models, and offer buyers an affordable way into ŠKODA ownership.

For example, buyers can pick up the multi-award-winning Fabia for as little as £99 per month. The finance offer also applies to the new Rapid Spaceback range that has recently benefitted from a generous price cut across the line-up. With prices now starting from just £13,500, it represents outstanding value for money.

And that’s not all. To help new buyers get the most out of their cars, ŠKODA is offering £500 worth of fuel. At current prices, that equates to 90 gallons of diesel or 94 gallons of unleaded – enough to keep a new Octavia 1.6 TDI GreenLine III going for 7,947 miles.

Customers opting for ŠKODA’s comprehensive range of approved used cars also benefit from The Big ŠKODA Event. For every used car sold between the 4th and 9th June, ŠKODA is offering two free services (one major and one minor). This means that owners save up to £400 on current Simply Fixed prices.

ŠKODA UK is delighted to annouce the renewal of its three-year fleet relationship with Trinity Fire & Security Systems (TF&SS).

Milton Keynes, 18th May – One of the UK’s leading independent specialist fire and security system suppliers, TF&SS has extended its longstanding contract with ŠKODA by taking delivery of 100 Octavia SE Business GreenLine Estates.

To find the perfect model for its drivers across the country, TF&SS conducted detailed analysis of the fleet market to find the optimum blend of frugality, CO2 emissions, purchase price, resale value, space and practicality. The conclusion of this analysis led it to the ŠKODA Octavia, a recent winner of the ‘Best Estate Car’ title at the annual Fleet News awards.

With the cars now delivered and branded in full livery, TF&SS's Octavia drivers will benefit from up to 88.3 miles per gallon, from a car that is spacious, functional, packed full of clever technology and which emits just 99g/km CO2.

Patrick McGillycuddy, Head of Fleet at ŠKODA UK, commented: “We are extremely pleased that TF&SS has decided to extend its relationship with ŠKODA. Time and again, we see fleet customers return to purchase more from us, which is testament not just to our cars, but also to our customer service provision. The Octavia SE Business is a particular hit.”

Trinity Fire & Security Systems‘ Fleet Manager, Gary Robinson, added: "Our criteria for business drives wasn’t simple, we had so many factors to consider. Yet, when all things were considered, the ŠKODA Octavia SE Business GreenLine Estate was the best choice, hands down. It's important to offer our engineers a high level of spec; they're the ones who live with these cars day to day. When I chose the Octavia Estate I wanted a car my engineers could put the family in on the weekend then whack the tools in the boot on Monday morning ready for work."

The ŠKODA Octavia is available with P11D values from just £16,230 and BIK of just 16 per cent. For more information visit skoda.co.uk/fleet.
